I grew up in a family that believed mithai was far more than indulgence. It was emotion, expression, and tradition. In our home, being “good” was never enough. Every product had to be the absolute best we believed we could create before it reached the shelves.

That mindset led to one of our boldest decisions, reinventing the traditional Malai Peda with a granular paneer base instead of conventional khoya. It was a risk that went on to create the iconic Eastern Malai Peda. Beyond products, Eastern was built on trust, relationships, and the belief that the wellbeing of our people matters just as much as the customers we serve.

Today, I carry this legacy forward with responsibility and conscious leadership. With flagship stores in Mumbai since 1967 and a growing global presence, we continue to evolve through innovation while staying rooted in the values that have defined Eastern for generations.
